Professionals Making A Difference
The PEA is expanding our digital image library and we asked for your help. We called all the aspiring and professional photographers within the Association to get out their cameras and snap some pictures for a chance to win one of four $100 prizes.
Following the submission period, internet users voted for their favourites over 14 days, and the results were astounding. Over six weeks, we received an astonishing 39 entries and over 1,700 votes were cast!
We are please to announce the winners of the PEA's first photo contest.
Ana has won a $100 cheque for her outstanding photograph, taken during site inspection at Toby Creek.
The Executive and Staff of the Association decided that one prize wasn't enough, so we've drawn for three random runner up prizes of $100. Jodi Jensen, Ernie Gorrie, and Teresa Humphries each drew one name out of a hat first thing in the morning on December 19, and we are pleased to congratulate Cheryl Conant of the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Lloyd Davies of the Ministry of Forests and Range, and Fern Teleglow of the Okanagan Regional Library as the recipients of these prizes.
