Bill 18: the Advanced Education Statutes Amendment Act

On December 15, 2011 the Professional Employees Association sent a letter to Naomi Yamamoto, Minister of Advanced Education, urging her to withdraw offending provisions in Bill 18, the Advanced Education Statutes Amendment Act.

The PEA sent a letter to Minister Yamamoto urging the repeal of provisions in Bill 18, that would bar Union members from standing for elected positions on the Board of Governors for BC Colleges, institues and universities.
