What if I do not use my discretionary days?
You are entitled to six discretionary days per year. If you are not able to book these days the remaining days will be paid out by April 30.
What if I am required to work on a holiday?
If you are required to work on a day that is a paid holiday then you are entitled to time off in lieu of a holiday to be taken at a time that is mutually agreed upon between you and the employer.
How much vacation can I carry over?
You can carry over up to ten days vacation leave per vacation year. The vacation carry over will not exceed ten days at any time.
What if I am ill while I am on my vacation leave?
If you are ill during your vacation period you may substitute accumulated sick leave credits for the days of illness.
